This incident resulted in the partial shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park.

An additional two individuals are now in custody related to a theft at London's Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals sustained injuries by what is thought to be an irritant spray, according to law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area on suspicion of theft and assault and a woman, 23 was detained for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. They both are still being held, the force said.

The arrests come after a probe into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the incident, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their suitcases after getting out of a car park lift.

A toddler aged three was among the injured during the incident. Five people went to hospital for medical care and have since been released.

Officers detained a man in his thirties for suspected theft and assault close to the scene. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Authorities were called at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding several people injured by an irritating chemical thought to be an irritant spray.

The assault - which police said was isolated and not being treated as terrorism - caused train delays and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park briefly.
